Does anyone have any experience using the .45x wide angle lens from Merkury Innovations? Is it any good?

.45 x is way way too deep to be any good
distortion will be massive

settle on .8x or .7x
there are some 'known' lenses that preform well

I too believe you should stick with whats known to work...Check here

For the most part... the off brand lenses are neither what they claim nor any good.....especially on a camera with a big lens such as the FZ30/50
