I am looking for a big zoom and am thinking about the above 2 cameras, or anything else suitable. The FZ1 has image stabilisation but the 750 does not. The total zooms are 1280 for the FZ1 and 1520 for the 750. Does anyone have experience or comments to make on which I should go for? I am ken on nature photography, and only sometimes have the opertunity for tripod use.

birdforum.net is a British based but very international forum "created to encourage the discussion of birding, bird-related topics, and the sharing of knowledge with others." (If it holds advertising, I haven't spotted it so maybe I'm alright).

The link I've given is to a thread I started on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 with reference to attempting nature photography. Mostly my gabble at the moment but it's early days.

Membership is free, like this forum. It might be worth your while joining 'cos then you can look in the gallery. If you do a search on Panasonic you'll find a link to my two feeble efforts. Search on something like c2100 or c700 and you'll be directed to pictures taken with these Olympus models. Amazing what some of these guys and gals have achieved with these cameras. I guess the c750 should be able to achieve the same as the c700 only better.
