I am attempting to learn and usemy Pany FZ-50. I have a problem seeing the screen info and viewing what I'd like to photograph outside due to glare reflecting from the glass. I bought a hood cover but that doesn't solve the problem. When I am trying to take a photo, light reflects off the LCD screen and I cannot see any of the scene or the screen info. The hood cover really hasn't helped at all. I've scoured the usual photo online photo shops but only see anti-glare screens for computer monitors. Any ideas? (I've tried making the screen brighter, but the reflection of light from the screen is stronger, not allowing me to see the screen contents at all)

I think some of us must have more trouble with that than others.

I do not know why camera companies can not do better with their LCDs, the technology is availabe as fishfinders and GPS screens can be viewed in direct sunlight.

I do not think there is a good solution.........I use the EVF with an eyecup and just ignor the LCD.....I would not care if it was not part of the camera.

I'm with genece on this. LCD screens are not the best way to focus in my opinion. I wear glasses and still manage to use the EVF with no problems under extremely bright conditions.
