Hi Squirrl

Some superb shots mate . I've not done any real birding shots with the E1 at all - just don;t have the lens for it yet, unless theyre in a zoo or I have the FZ10 with me.

Francesco - I think this year may be a pretty good year to go DSLR - Canon are more than likely to intro a 40D (liveview ?), Olympus 510/410 (live preview and IS built in for the 510) and Panasonic introducing a consumer end DSLR as well to match the Leica D 14-150(28-300) f3.5-5.6 IS added to that you have the Pentax K10D. Regards image quality and noise my E1's ISO800 is roughly equivalent to the FZ10's ISO200. I've discovered that from actually comparing 8x10 prints from both cameras. On screen the E1's ISO800 looked slightly worse than the FZ10's ISo200 but the final prints were a different story. So any of the new cameras with the latest and greatest sensors could well push that even further.
