No need to even bring the F50fd into the discussion. I have been procrastinating about buying another small camera and was just about to pull the trigger on a Fujfilm F31fd with the $50 coupon - final price $170.

However I wanted a small camera with stabilization and a little smaller than the F31fd while keeping the great ISO levels. This one goes to 6400 and the photos at 1200 look amazing.

Well initial reports are that the Lumix DMC-FX33 is probably my choice. The FX55 has a slightly larger LCD with more pixels, but is a slightly larger camera.

Hopefully, there will be some street discounting over the $300 suggested retail.
