Well, I have to admit, I'm feeling a bit dim here, so excuse me if this is a simple one.

I'm assuming that "Conversion Lens Compatibility" means that the FZ28 will accept additional lenses, but what is the mm size? On my FZ30, I needed a 55-58 converter to use the suggested lenses, but nowhere can I find the mm to mm numbers for the FZ28.

I do see that they say that you need the DMW-LA3 for using lenses, but will any other adaptor work or is that my only option?

There is an adapter on Ebay that is 58mm so that may be the one for you........unfortunately there is no adapter that I know of that can be left on the FZ28 without vignetting at WA settings.......PS, you do not need to use the conversion lens option in the menu.......

This is the best one or so most folks claim it is.
