- The lens is the same, except it has a much improved image stabilization system.
- The sensor is new--has 2 more megapixels. That might not be such a good thing, except
- It has a new Venus V engine. Dual processor.

The innards are significantly different.

The LCD is different, not the same as the FZ28

"Power Image" stabilization as stated

Has the new V-engine same as some of there DSLR's w/ dual CPU's as stated

One bottom record

Better joystick not hard as the old one.

Alot more video settings for better Video/Photo bridge cam

Plus filter holder on lens, and the thread for adding lens (2 threads) .
There are more changes also, a lot inside

The only thing I wish it had was a mic jack with audio adjustments
It would be the best Super Zoom Bridge Cam.
Maybe the FZ50 replacement will have it, If so I'm getting one.

Got my FZ35 last week, still learning. I'm a video buff also It's nice
to have a good all in one camera. The lens is just right and well balance
to go longer on zoom you would have to give up something I would think.
