Default Getting closer

I'm from Toronto, ON, Canada and I've just pre-ordered the FZ10.

I went to Henry's on Church street last Saturday with the intention of browsing their exhaustive selection of high end digital cameras. I was fortunate to speak to one of their professional photographers on site. After I got to discussing the merits of long zoom cameras and how they compare to each other, well, I just couldn't resist. I'm expected to get mine no later than the first week of December.

Apparently, according to one of their reps, a number of their customers continue to return their cameras as they have opted for the FZ1. It's 12x, OSI and macro have been it's reliable selling points. As they continue to get converts, the FZ1 is bound to hang around, especially for those customers who are looking to get a definite bargain. As for me, I have the money to spend and I believe I'm doing so wisely on a camera with a couple of key features unmatched by the competition. I can't wait to use it at my family's Christmas gathering.
