Default Best ZS7 Setting

I will be getting my ZS7 later today and am leaving tomorrow for a trip. Can anyone tell me the best settings to use with the camera? This camera is a big step up from my prior Nikon in terms of features and ability. I don't want to come home from my trip and realize that I didn't maximize the potential of the camera.

Also will a class 4 card be good enough or is a class 6 that much better?

A class 6 card is preferred if you will shooting video. For well lighted shots I would use the "P" for Programed Auto Mode and Auto ISO. For shots in low lighting conditions I would use "IA" or Intelligent Automatic and limit the ISO setting to 800 or 1600 at the most.
