Default Yellow/green spots on pictures FZ35

Hi, just wondering if this is normal or something is wrong with my camera. I just bought my FZ35 last week and about 3 days ago I took some indoor pictures and started to notice a lot of yellow/green spots in shady areas.
For example when you take a portrait picture then where your chin casts shadow it is very visible that there are these yellow spots.

Is that my fault? Camera fault? Standard for this type of camera?

Anyone else having this experience.

Please let me know since today is the last day that I can return my camera in the store.

Thank you.

I did a quick google and found a few suggestions that you can get yellow spots/blotches from the noise suppression. Maybe you could turn that off and try again?

I have the very similar FZ28 and have never seen what you're describing. If you have time you might want to post an example and give as much additional information as you can.

If I were you I'd be heading back to the store. If they can't tell you what you may be doing wrong then at least you should end up with another camera/refund.

Do they look like this???
Issues with new ZR1

If so, I think it's a bad camera.

The spots are not like the one in the ZR1.

They look a lot like noise spots. But why is it visible at ISO 80 or 100? And most visible at ISO 400 and up.

I wish I could send you some example but don't have any website that I post pictures on.

Basically to best describe it is like high noise but there are not visible any other colors other then the yellow. Which to me is odd. Usually with high noise you can see all colors.

Or not?

Mine does it too, but only at high ISOs. It's very noticeable even on the LCD at ISO 1600 in dark sitations. It's also present at ISO 1000 on cropped images. It looks just like you describe, greenish yellow blotches scattered everywhere and not defined dots like in the link posted above. I'd post an example, but I've deleted them all. I just figured it was noise. At lower ISOs, it's not present.

It sounds like noise. Noise presents a speckled appearance at high ISO settings.
