Default Lumix FZ38/FZ35 12Mpixel continous shooting

Hello you forum people!

This is my first post here.

I have searched the users manual and several forums and have yet to find an clear answer to the following question:

Is it possible to shoot in continous mode at 12 Mpixels rather than the Burst mode with 3 pictures in "Fine Quality" or 5 pictures in "Normal Quality"?
The "Hi-Speed Burst" at very low quality is not sufficiant for my purpose.

I am sorry if this question has already been answered.

The only options I see are continuous at 3MP or the 3/5-shots at 12MP. I think that's as much as it can fit in the fast 40MB memory before it needs to stop and save it to the card.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I was afraid the answer was negative.

I still think it is strange that this function is not implemented. I would really like to take continous pictures at full resolution. Its not the speed i am after. I would be thrilled if i could take one picture every 2 seconds or so.

But i can not complain. The camera is perfect in every other way :-)
