Default Newbie to the Forum & FZ35

Hi All,

I recently just purchased a FZ35 for my wife for her birthday! She needed a new camera and had always dreamed of getting one of those DSLR cameras....but hey...I'm a young teacher and can't afford that. So I did my research and found this beast of a camera. WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Just last night we took a picture of the moon and were amazed to actually see the craters on it. I stopped by on the forum last night as I was having trouble getting a decent shot, and found that a tripod would help! (Stupid me for not getting that as well)

So here is the first shot on the camera of our cat Ethel.

Welcome to the forum. A tripod definitely helps with a moon shot.
Ethel is a fine looking cat. Is there a Fred around?

Welcome to the Forum. We're pleased that you dropped by.

That is a nice shot of Ethel the cat. She ought to meet Eddie, another cat pictured in this folder.
