I have been following this forum for the last few weeks before my arrival of the FZ100. I have had it now for 5 days and I must say I was very concerned after reading so many negative results. I have taken over 500 pictures with it and the more I use it, the more I like it. I have a FZ28 and have been happy with it also. I took side by side pictures to see the difference, and really they both are about the same. Not everyone likes over saturation, but I find the "Happy" mode works for me as I the like the brighter colors. I have not done many inside shots yet so thats the next test. I would post some photos, but not sure how ... I do have a Flicker account. Thanks everyone for their hints and opinions, it all helps. I was thinking of sending it back, now I think I will keep it.

Looking at the FZ100 posted so far, I have to admit it's a very good camera. I'm a F38 owner myself, but when comparing price and quality, I'd go for the FZ38 still if I did not have it already, mainly due to the price I have to add .

It's a great cam tho, and I'm curious about your shots. You can put them on here by going to the photo on your flicker account, then rightclick the (enlarged version) image, and copy the Image URL.

In the posts here, click on the icon with the 'mountain and the sun' above it (Insert Image) and paste the URL in the box that shows up. If you prefer to type, you can type [.img]http://paste.your.image.url[./img] .

Good luck and hope to see some shots soon.

PS. Remove the 'dots' in front of the word img and /img

I've seen very few images from the FZ100 so far that have really impressed me and made me feel it surpasses the FZ35/38. However, as I've said before, the FZ100 is a new camera and there's always a learning curve. Perhaps its learning curve is steeper than other models so I give the benefit of the doubt. But for now, I believe the FZ35 is a better camera even though it has a shorter lens.
