The above pic was taken at about 12x - 14x zoom, camera to subject distance about 5metres (15ft) and the background was about 10m/30ft behind the subject. Camera was set to "Program"
Phil, that's easy enough for a smaller subject taken outdoors. How far back would you need to be from a human subject to achieve this? I suspect the bird's head is substantially smaller than a person's head?
