Default FZ40 Newbie

Hi Everyone, newbie here

I would love to learn how to shoot crisp and beautiful photos like what are posted in this forum.

I am a newbie on photography and still learning about the effects of aperture, ISO, shutter-speed on the photo. I "understand" what these are for but I need to get better in the application part.

Also I wanted to learn about proper focusing and zooming since I know these also affect the outcome of a photograph.

If you gusy have tips and/or links where I could refer to that would be greatly appreciated.

More power!

Take a look at this thread. It contains Sarah's beginners guide for FZ40 (scroll down past the photos). Rest is just practice, practice!

I wrote the FZ40 Beginner's Guide as a means to help get folks started with their new FZ40. As has been suggested already: you improve your skills by getting out there a shooting photos on a consistent basis.
