Default FZ45 Zoom

Hi All. Trying out a replacement FZ45 (sensor went kaput on the last one on its first outing!). Was really impressed with the zoom, tho not neccessarily so impressed with my artistic efforts!

1 - The River Clyde in Glasgow
2 - Close up of Statue on top of old Custom's building
3 - Old Sheriff Court
4 - Close up of Statue on top of the Court building

These are all hand held, are all as out of the camera, just cropped and resized a bit to get them on here. Think when the light is good this is a great camera!

Interesting shots of the statues, like that #2. And yes the FZ big zooms love the light.

Cool shots - looks like you're getting off to a good start with this camera.

It does love the light, but it also loves the dark on a tripod. I'm starting to regret the 60 second shutter limit (in M mode), because it behaves beautifully in low light. Just need to keep the ISO low - gets horribly noisy if you don't.
