Default Raynox worth the trouble?

Anyone have and use the Raynox DCR-2025pro 2.2 teleconverter. I bought one from Amazon for my FZ-100 ,and I just recieved the DCR-250 today which is the macro lense. I now have to return and reorder is worth getting this lense or should I get something else. It really bothers me when what I ordered doesn't come in right.

I can't speak for the DCR-2025 but I can tell you that the DCR-250 and DCR-150 are excellent additions to your accessories. They provide terrific macros.

I own the Panasonic LT55 teleconverter so I can't tell you about the Raynox. But I do own the Raynox 250 and I think is OK, not as good of quality lens as the Canon or Panasonic, but because it's so easy to take on and off, it's nice to have around.

Default The Raynox causes chromatic aberrations.

From what I have read on the interent and on the Amazon reveiws, the Raynox gives you a decent image but you'll find colorful fringes at the edges of objects.
read the Amazon review by Rolla Gravett, as he uses an FZ100 and seems to be more knowledgeable than average.
2.2x seems like a nice magnification, though.
I'll try to find the website where I saw Raynox and another teleconverter comparison.
