Default FZ35 - daylilies

First series of the season, so just trying to learn how to improve these kinds of shots. I believe I will try to use A mode, with small aperture, with the hope of getting the sixth stamen in focus all the way to the bulbous end. In most of these shots, the five were good, but the DOF prevented the sixth from being in focus. I undoubtedly will loose the out-of-focus nature of the backdrops, however.

Roger, those are some great looking shots. What a change from the old days when you were ready to put the camera back in the box.

Looking forward to more of your shots.

Roger, that's a really good series with excellent colour and clarity. Love the colours in shots 2&3.
