braving the uk cold at the moment for a moon shot. are you in the north? cos i cant even see it through these skies in the south
looked for it tonight cos some friends on facebook had commented on the moon looking great tonight, but theyre up north and all i saw were clouds. what camera are you using and is this straight off the camera without a lens? regards, john

I have tried many times to get a sharp moon shot and find it very hit and miss, best I ever got was with spot focus, spot exposure, +2 EZ self timer on a sturdy tripod, P mode late in the evening before it gets too dark. Like the rest of you I will be having another go when the opportunity arises, To comment on yours Catalex, that is similar to what I get, but I am sure we could both do better.
