Yes - 100%
and then to have it shredded to become wood chips that become cardboard that then becomes land fill after a single use does seem a bit silly

However, I find that timber that is used for furniture etc and so retains its colour and grainy texture - and the aroma when it's being made into furniture - is one of life's very wonderful pleasures

Good find Phil. I'm wondering, was this made by somebody sad about deforestation, or a lumberjack who is proud of his work..???
