Default Fz100 Battery Issues

Hi I seem to be getting less range out of my battery, Its an almost new unit as Is the camera, Its one of the later models as It was purchased a shop return just a month or so back, after a full charge(after making sure the battery Is fully discharged, I am only getting about 200 shots before the battery goes flat, normaly I would take about 40-50 shots In one go zoom lens used alot a full reach, no screen just viewfinder, then connect to comp with leed, then put away, and I have found as today after taking camera out again the battery has allwed me to take about another 30-50 pics with the same lens extended set up then the battery would die.

Any Ideas

There should be some time of Economy mode setting on the camera that will help conserve power.

Comments and suggestions for improvement welcome and appreciated.

G'day PM

Economy settings [good idea] or not, it always is a good idea to have a 2nd as a spare
I would be chasing up a spare as well ~ here's where I get mine from...
