Image noise over 400iso is inevitable to some degree on ANY bridge camera- but less of an issue if you're not a pixel peeper- besides, the fast lens on the FZ200 should reduce the need to use iso400 more often than any competing bridge camera.
I'm sure you'll be happy with your new camera

Here's some sample shots taken with the FZ200 at a variety of iso speeds...

They look pretty good to me...!

I'm really considering the FZ200 to replace my FZ7 as a back up when I want to go light weight.
But I recently compared my Nikon D5100 with the FZ200 on image resource. They have a thing they call a comparometer, where you just dial in a pair of cameras and you can look at how they compare at different iso.s. I put the Fz200 at iso 400 and checked it against the Nikon and it seemed to my eyes that the Nikon at 3200 was about the same.So allowing for the F2.8 advantage being somewhat compromised by having to use a low iso, it just comes down to the 600mm as the most my Nikon has is 300mm.
My FZ7 starts off at F2.8 and is also not good above iso 400.It's what I call my sunny day camera, it's a shame but I think this latest version has the same short coming.Of course it is lighter but not that much now.
But I'm still not decided totally.I think if I lived in Florida not the UK I would think differently.
