Default Thayer's Gull - FZ150

Mostly over the flu, so I thought I would see if I had enough reflexes to shoot a bird in flight. Mucked up a lot of shots, but liked these. The one with the trees in the background is not as sharp as some, but I like it. I always try and take shots like that to stretch the camera's limits.

I'm echoing JJ, plus, I especially liked the first image.

Thanks guys. I do enjoy shooting gulls and am glad to share them. Some of them enjoy being photographed also, as long as I have a bit of bread or something.

Really nice shots Steve! I haven't had any luck with gulls in flight, never in the right place at the right time.

That first shot is a cracker, but would sugest you up your speed a notch or two.

Thanks Saly and Grounded. Speed was 1/1000 second, which is pretty fast.
