Anybody here doing much of that here?
resolution is reduced vs shooting stills but the continuous auto focus, metering and frame rate returns many times the possible good shots AND of course you also have a video to boot. Here's a sample of one of mine combining video, then slowed to 1/4 speed, followed by some frame captures. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zWGgqUvxGc Had a lot working against me there, back lighted by sun, parts shade, fast motion, panning... Other than capturing from video, I don't think I could have snagged those shots. Oh here are a couple of captures from the above |

Ha noticed that did you?
It's pretty much a local "outlaw" track, does issue one side timeslips but doesn't have scoreboards. Few if any rules.. so it's the driver and passengers call to take responsibility for their own life. If you look at some of the other videos you might think it reminiscent of drag racing in a prison lol Probably our oldest track to.. been operating for about 65 years now At our other nhra and ihra tracks they do have helment and no passenger rules that kick in at faster than 8.59 1/8 mile and 13.99 1/4 mile. Thanks
Camera works pretty darn well. Most of my video's have pretty large user errors in them. I still not very comfortable shooting, zooming, panning etc with that format of a camera. Am getting to where I don't zoom the wrong direction as much as I did a month ago though, and sometimes even find the correct button the first time these day. You do much capture from video or just shoot stills for stills and video for video? |
