Default Leica D-Lux 4 or Panasonic Lumix GF1?

I want to buy one for my mom because she just wants to carry a camera around that does the same effect as her DSLR.

unfortunately I don't have the money so I have to go for second hand ones.

Leica D-Lux 4 : $500
Lumix GF1: $450

Is the Leica D-Lux 4's lens interchangeable? i'm thinking it is. it's Leica after all.

Thanks for all the help guys!

The D-Lux 4 is a Leica badged Panasonic LX-3- and is a fixed lens compact.
The Panasonic GF1 does have an interchangeable lens- though if your mom wants it to be compact, make sure you have a pancake lens attached such as the bijou 20mm f/1.7.

P.S If those prices are "second hand", they seem a little excessive...!
