Default Panasonic DMC-FZ50 question

Hi all fz50 users....

The camera has a clock battery and clock in it. Any ideas how to get it to superimpose a timedate over photos taken ? I note 'travel date' settings & it's ability to superimpose things like "1st day" but all I want is a time & date on the resulting image - something I'd expect on all digicams nowadays - and yes, I have RTFM !

Cheers

Mike.

G'day Mike

I can't recollect whether my old FZ30 had such an option either, but I will have a go with a mate's FZ50 to see what I can find. Give me a few days...
ps- today's FZ's have more comprehensive innards, so that fabulous workhorse of yours may not have this as an option

Phil

Going by the FZ200 menu, I am able to get date on the photo if the following steps are taken:
1. Set [date stamp] feature on - must be on your recording menu.
2. Picture mode should be RAW.
Best of luck!
