Default ZS100 viewfinder view too small

Just got new zs100. So far, I've been able to set up as I want, but two questions:

When I look through the viewfinder, the viewing area is small, only taking up a part of the viewfinder area - how can I increase this?

Not sure, but it seems that when I turn camera back on, it always reverts back to touch screen view. If true, how can I get it to default to viewfinder view?

regards, David

There are a couple of display options (in shooting mode) on both the viewfinder AND monitor... some showing small image and lots of data- others with histograms and some with larger image with over-laid data... scroll through display options to see which suits best...
No doubt whether using 4/3, 3/2 or 16/9 will impact the viewing area also...
