If the FZ1 can use the same as the FZ10 (and I'd imagine so), you can get very fast memory, "SimpleTech ProX" for good prices. I bought a couple of the 256 MB ProX cards for $51 each at ebuyer.com (they had great reviews at resellerratings.com).

Be sure to get the ProX, not just regular - the ProX write up to 10 MB/s, which means it won't hold back your burst shots (I've had good luck with firing a burst, and it's ready for another burst very quickly).

I have three of the 4 cards mentioned( do not have standard Simpletech) and I see no diference in them. I also have a Dane Electric that is marked 10 mb/s but it is very slow, both in the Fluzi and in a card reader.
