I had posted earlier about out of focus shots shooting indoors. I should say they were not only out of focus but totally blurry. I was shooting at full zoom across a large room at work. I shot under the same scenarion with my old Olympus which also has image stabilization and had no problems. Is there a way to check to see if the stabization is working properly?

Turn it off, take a shot with a 1/4 sec shutter.

The stabilised shot should be OK, maybe even sharp. The other one should be crap.

Alternatively, you could compare "off" vs "mode 1" by looking through the EVF and noticing the lack of wobbles when stablisation is on.
