Finally got to handle the FZ20. Pretty light considering the large lens.

The only issue i have is that the lens cap doesn't seem to have a strap/string that you can attach to the camera, so that you don't misplace the lens cap whilst you're trying to take a picture.
Is there such a strap/string that comes with the camera?
If not, how do people get by? I mean i have a tendency to mis place things and don't want to lose the lens cap whilst i'm taking a picture.

the other thing is i've also got a Canon MV-650i digital video camera. I noticed that it taks SD cards and can copy photos and taken by the camera and stored on the card to the mini-DV tape. I tried this and it records the images as static pictures for a few seconds on the tape. ie when played back the previously static images become like an automated slide show.

My question are:
1. Is it a good idea to use transfer images captured via the FZ20 and stored on the SD card and transfer these to the mini-DV tape using the Canon MV-650i?

2. Will there be a loss in quality when it comes to printing?

3. Is there a way to store the pictures as pictures instead of as a slide show using the MV-650i?

I'm trying to determine if i need to purchase one of those portable storage devices, which are fairly hard to come by in Australia.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
