Well you can always get a PC->hotshoe, then a hotshoe->pc and us that for macro. It'd be more versatile at least then. Or you could probably find a handle to hold it on as well.

However, this individual is obviously not using it for macro (not lighting up a room) unless he's just using that to test it.

Ahhh no, I would sooner have 2 slave units and no cords :-). A handle setup would not work for what I take in macro, just at a rough guess. But yes, thats not what this person is after. :-)

Keepn the slave...

Here is what you should do...Popup the internal flash with the camera. Make sure the sensor from the slave is within range and facing the flash from the internal flash.

Make sure you "DISABLE" all pre-flash function of the camera. Such as Focus Assist, etc.

This causes the slave to flash ahead of the actual picture taken.

Also set the ISO on the slave to match the camera as well. Including Shuttle Speed and Appeture.
