I just stumbled across a link to the Panasonic parts site. Once I typed in the FZ3 model number the list of accessories came back. At the bottom of the list was this.

For $15 maybe it would be a good idea to buy an adaptor ring for the 2x and another for the macro lens. Then I could quick change to any shooting function because of the bayonet mount.

I need to give this some thought. It's certainly easier and faster then using the threads. :idea:

p.s. here is the site --> http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/Epartr

Sounds like a really good idea! Also, as well as being able to do "quick changes" it would reduce the wear on the threads as the lenses could be left in place.

The only prob in getting one myself in Australia is that we are charged much higher prices here, so it would be double or three times that price.
