This is a series of pictures I took from Satellite Beach of the Atlas launch from Cape Canaveral at 4:43 PM. These pictures were shot at 48X zoom with my FZ-20 and handheld. I only had a minute to get the camera and get outside(I had forgotten about the launch). Just thought you might like to see them. The rocket is approximately 15 miles away when the pictures were shot. The first shot occurs at 4:43:09PM.



This photo shows the burnout of the solid rocket boosters at 4:43:53
