I just got delivery today of my new FZ20 camera and could not wait to get it going.

I went out to my office window and took these pictures of the northern end of Biscayne Bay.

What you are looking at in the first picture is accross the bay from just north of downtown Miami looking torwards Miami Beach in the distance, with the two bridges as framing. This one was taken with F8, ISO 100 and 8 seconds exposure time.

I have resized it for easy viewing here, but if you want to see the original, it's at:


This one is looking southeast torwards the McArthur Causeway bridge.

Exposure is F2.8, 2 seconds, ISO 100.

I think the second is better as far as exposure. Doesn't the first one looks overexposed?

Any comment would be appreciated.

No Art, the first one is not overexposed.

Haven't you tried to take it to the top values of ISO 80-100 but with F2,8 and 4 - 8 seconds ?

The first one would have looked better with wider aperture...

A quick 2 seconds in photoshop (too much noise in the blue channel). Could be better, but time to eat!
