I want to use my FZ-5 to meter a zone other than the subject & then focus on the new composition. Do I have to use the manual metering to do this? I would like to use AE if it is possible to lock the exposure & then focus elsewhere.
If this is not possible with the FZ-5, I suppose that this would be another advantage of the FZ-20s manual focus. I big advantage, in my opinion!
