Any ideas on settings to get better results shooting anything after it gets a little dim outside. I am having problems shooting in stadiums and getting any good results. That includes things that are setting still. FZ 20:?

Thing that are stationary should not be a problem.

Thisis only the way I would approach that situation

Center Meter

Spot Focus

Raise the ISO to at least 200 and deal with the noise later.

OIS mode 2

And even at that if the exposure is getting longer than 1/100 sec and your using much zoom you need to hold the camera very still.

Maybe use a monopod.

If you would post some photos with the exif included someone may be able to help more.
