I'm ok with you but.... Couldn't you use the FZ30 in 5Mpx ? Does it change the quality of the images instead of use the 8Mpx mode ?

The Idea of panasonic:

more pixels and more space (ccd larger) :

got +/- same noise at 100%( but greater surface for same pics )

=>:-) better results in larger prints....:-)

What do you want more? ISO 3200 in these 700$ cams?

That will break the dslr market, they din't do it and perhaps don't don't do it....:?
