Seemolf you are right (If I correctly understand your point)

I have a Canon A300, very close to A70 in colors: in vivid mode colors are already great as out ofthe camera, although res is weak at 3Mp.

With FZ20 there is much to correct in Contrasts, Color saturation and color tones.
A lil work more , but results do not fail to hit after some time spent PPing.

Generally Auto Color adjustment in Photoshop gives too red/blue tones, so I undo it at about 30% (where 0% is the originally yellow cast FZ20 color).

That yellow cast is not so bad in macros IMO, whereas I hate it more when it occurs in landscapes shots with trees/grass.

Not hard to remove, but as with noise and other isssues:

the less PP needed, the better the camera is
