I was looking at the "Nowhere" picture again - the composition is just spot on, not being in colour really makes it work and its simply a classic shot.

Thanks, Charles and again Harj. Here is the shot in its original color. I completely agree that not being in color makes it work. The green grassdetracts so much from the rails. The austerity of the monotoneallows the eye totravelfreely and unobstructed along thetracks to the distant warehouse. The green grass doesn't get in the way. The bleakness of the sky keeps the viewer in the picture whereas the blue skyresolves the suspense andone loses interest.

I just ordered a 9x12 of the b&w. Something I seldom do. I'm looking forward to seeing how that works. Thanks again for the comments.
