I, like Steve, got both the FZ20 (soon to have 30) and the Canon 20D. If you can afford it, you should have two cameras. Esp. if one breaks down, you have something to still take pics with. I also don't have an array of lenses to cover the focal length of the FZ20/30. So, when I am not sure what I am shooting, or what I will need, I take the FZ20 (and sometimes take the 20D along, sometimes not). Either way, Mr. Pain, I remember you well, and you will be missed.
