[align=left]Some of our more high minded photographers wonder if the advent of the digital cameramay bediluting the photographic waters to the point where "great" photographs are soon doomed to become commonplace. Herewithsome lowly snap shotsfrom a state of the art digital camera. Great photograghs?Perhaps a wee bit - occasionally. Butgreat fun, nevertheless. Great camera? Without a doubt!

For the unitiated, the Thanksgiving Parade in the US has long been the official kickoff to the Christmas season. Many neighborhoods and small towns throughout the country have Thanksgiving parades on the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day. Many cities have a Thanksgiving Day Parade on that last Thursday in November. Here are somethumbnails linked to the larger images of one of the biggest neighborhood parades in Philadelphia.
