when I wake up too early, my friend the silverfish is expecting me in the ceramics department. Waiting for a short time and disappearing fast afterwards.
I thought he deserves a portrait here.
But this is not as easy as I thought. He hates light and his reflecting surfurce makes focussing a time consuming game. He nearly won this game, but here are three shots of the insect:



offers this advice:
..the damage caused by silverfish is negligible and the animals have no effect on human health, although they are known to cause emotional distress to bug haters.

I hope there are no bug haters around here.
