I'm not sure if this a defect or just normal for FX9
When the camera is pointed to light sources such as light bulbs, lamp post ...
the image showing on the LCD will have long vertical lines on those light source..

the long lines won't shown on the image taken though....

That's normal for most CCD digital cameras! It's called 'Smear' and occurs when the camera is pointed toward a very bright object, ie a light, the sun etc. It will not appear in your picture which is taken. Jim
