These were from 11-12ft away in macro mode (12x telemacro). Granted, these are rather extreme conditions to be running a comparison. Sorry for the extreme conditions. The dof is going to be a little better (greater) with the lower powered act100.

FZ5 w/ oly tcon17 1.7x ; 1/25s, f3.3, iso80, -2/3ev

FZ5 w/ minolta act-100 1.5x; 1/30s, f3.3, iso80, -2/3ev

The originals clearly show the superior photo quality of the act100.

Thanks for the images Fred. The Minolta really does a nice job, seems very well suited to the smaller FZ series. Perhaps even better on them then the 10/15/20 line.

But could you hold off on promoting the ACT-100 until after I get my hands on one from eBay? I don't need a bidding war on my hands, it's hard enough as it is.
