we finally got some nice weather today! :G i get off work at noon on Fridays, so i grabbed my '20 and headed out to enjoy the sunshine, and managed this shot of the Snoqualmie River just outside the town of Fall City, about 25 miles east of Seattle... a sunny day and clear skies can make even the drab lifelessness of winter look good!

Gorgeous Shot, Squirll! Yep, clear, sunny skies are the best! But, woe is me, we've got yet another band of storms and cold weather on their way today. Ah well. This too shall pass!

Hey, that is a gorgeous shot indeed. The river is beautiful in relation to the mountain backdrop.

Very nice Squirl. That river seems a little low, (stones showing on the right), considering all the rain you've had !? Jim

Very nice.

It seems tomorrow will be a nice day here, so I'll have to press my FZ20 in the upcoming excursion.

Did you used the polarizer for your shot?
The only thing I'd have done differently in this shot: if you have enhanced saturation someway, I'd have "undone" this saturation in the mountains area above the trees, and below the snow. I personally don't like that bluish hue in those areas.
The rest of the image has nice balanced colors.
The sky (and perhaps the water too) is a little bit too saturated, but I am the first to admit that I often pump up the sky saturation in order to obtain that particular "canon-like" solor, which, although a bit unnatural is very appealing...

another critic: with that day, those places and FZ20 ...only one shot???!!!
