I have had my FZ30 for about a week or so, today I heard a noise and I put my ear up to the camera and it sounded like a motor squeaking. When I recorded a movie I heard it on playback. Is this normal.

When my FZ30 is turned on, I do hear some clicking, but that's the continous autofocus.... no other sounds, and I never noticed any sounds from the camera in movie mode.

Same thing from mine. I also posted about the same thing when I first got my FZ30. Appears to be normal. Switch either the OIS or autofocus off (I forget which) and the sound doesnt go away but it does diminish. Ive had mine for several months now and I must say I really like it. Enjoy!
