Smile What the eye sees...........

Isn't always what the camera captures.

I'm still in the fledgling stage of my picture taking, am purely into this for self-gratification and learning new things everyday. Getting to know my camera slowly and getting myself comfortable with it before going into more techie things with it.
And gotta say, I AM having some fun too!

I took this pic while crossing the Forth road Bridge in Central scotland, not too far from home this weekend. I snapped the pic and to be honest my eyes saw beggar all. I was just shooting out the car window, randomly more or less hoping for the best. The resulting picture really made me smile - I think it's quite interesting. (if a little dark and blue - but that's one of the things I like about it - Looks dare I say...Scottish?)

The other side of that is that I spent an afternoon taking pics in a lovely old town, the park, the high street etc, I was happy enough with the composition of them at the time, and yet not one of them I'm happy with now.
How do we train our eyes to see like a camera? (Ok now THAT's a silly question) :0)
Thanks for listening to my little daft ramble
