anyway to disable GF3 AF assistance? Went through manual couldn't find anything about AF lamp assistance.. I prefer this thing off!
Anyone? and which Canon lens adapter do you recommend ? i have canon 50 prime lying around and would't like to try it with GF3! Last edited by ishoot; Mar 8, 2013 at 3:03 PM. |

The AF assist lamp on/off is on the third page of the custom menu in the G1.
When you notice the beam, it usually needs it to focus. |

The menu system is really poorly designed. I got this cam for a project on amazon for $200. I am however been using t2i as my main camera for 2 years... So i kinda consider myself an advanced pro user.. Lol! ![]() ![]() ![]() As soon as i finish with my project I'll probably will give it t my nephew or sell it on Craigslist. |

The menu and the manual for Panasonic seem really awkward initially, but as you get familiar with it and catch on to the logic, it gets very natural and practical.
There should be a "My Menu" where the last 5 menu options you use will transfer to. So you could have the AF assist, Flash adjust, focus assist, format, etc. available at a button press for convenience. Makes a good reminder of something you might have changed and forgotten, also. I've grown to really like the system, but I'm very familiar with it. Good Luck. |
