im looking for any one who knows of any good free software for stitching, ive looked around but all i seem to find is trials.

PixAround lite claims to be free in the software section of this site but on the pix around website i cant seem to find it,

ive been doing mostly only landscapes.
on a canon powershot a520.

none of the ones i have are a full 360* or in any way fancy. most will only be flat, theres one ive taken which is slightly spherical (sp) it goes from the landscape and starts to look up to the sky aswell.

i know the software im looking for is around, i just dont know if i'll be able to find anything thats free.

any advice would be great, links to software you have used or know about, also.

thanks...

I use and love auto stitch!

It's free!

Very easy to use?

Not sure about the 360 degree issue, but like the Rolling Stone say.........

You can't always get what you want.........but if you try real hard you find what you need (maybe)

Good luck

If it really must be free software, then there's Hugin and Panorama Tools. Capable of the finest results andfar more versatile than Autostitch. Autostitch is much easierto use, but only outputs equirectangular images (which is ok for spherical panoramas). There's no reason why you shouldn't have both.
