Default Kiwi L: Works with D60 and Vertical Grip

I had been using the Kaidan Kiwi for the Coolpix 990. When I got my D60, unfortunately I needed another pano head.

The Kiwi L works with the D60 and the BG-ED3 battery grip, even with a Kirk QR camera plate on the BG-ED3. I have the 16-35 lens, and the Kiwi L bracket is wide enough to set the camera so that the nodal point of the lens is over the tripod pivot.

I can zoom from 16-35 and still keep the camera at the same position. The bracket also seems close to working with my 28-135, but I will have to do some further testing to find the exact setting. The Kiwi will also work with the 50mm primes, and probably several longer focal lengths. It is the least expensive way I could think of to use a head for panos with the D60, short of making it myself, a la Bill Drew, who did a wonderful job.

Just thought somebody might be interested.
